Abstract

A series of zeolites ZSM-5 has been synthesized in hydrothermal conditions at 433 K by varying time of HT treatment with the following molar compositions of the precursor gel: 1.0 SiO 2 : 0.01 Al 2 O 3 : 0.2 ТPAОН : 0.05 Na 2 O : 50 H 2 O : 4.0 EtOH. Materials have been characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and nitrogen adsorption measurements. We have succeeded to synthesize ZSM-5 crystals with metastable aggregate-like morphology reproducibly and to follow their evolution during HT treatment.
