During the New Order era, there was significant progress in assisting farmers through the establishment of Village Unit Cooperatives (Koperasi Unit Desa, KUD). However, these cooperatives are today facing obstacles and setbacks. To assess the difficulties and advantages of cooperatives, it is necessary to establish a cooperative framework that encompasses the cooperative movement and the support of regulatory norms. This paradigm ensures the continued presence and provision of cooperative products in the economy. The research was conducted utilizing quantitative methodologies, specifically utilizing smart Partial Least Square (Smart PLS) analysis. A study was undertaken to investigate the scope of opportunities and challenges for the cooperative market to integrate into the Indonesian economy. The findings, from the data discovered by the academic community at the Institute of Business and Informatics in 1957, indicate that the p value is less than 0.05, indicating a significant correlation with a value over 0.7. Therefore, there is a significant potential for the development and establishment of cooperatives in Indonesia, which can serve as a fundamental pillar of the country's thriving economy in the future.
