Vibration mitigation of L-shaped pipes in different intensity of vibration with particle dampers

Abstract
Abstract It is particularly important to control the vibration of the pipeline. Particle dampers are often used in the vibration control of industrial pipelines. In this paper, a L-shaped industrial pipeline was taken as the research object. It was found that When the particle dampers were located in an environment with reduced acceleration Γ≤3.8, the particle dampers mainly experienced collision damping, and the dissipation performance of the particle dampers was characterized by the collision damping method. When the particle dampers were located in an environment with reduced acceleration Γ>3.8, viscous damping was mainly used, and the multi-phase flow idea could be used to predict the vibration reduction effect of the particle damper.
