Study on diagnostic value of changes in serum levels of endometrium antibody (EMAb) and CA125 (CA125) in patients with endometriosis

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of changes in serum levels of EMAb and CA125 in patients with endometriosis.Methods Serum level of EMAb was measured with ELISA and level of CA125 with chemiluminescent immunoassay(CLIA)in 45 patients with endometriosis and 40 healthy controls.Results There is significant difference between positive rate and figures of EMAb and CA125 in patients of observation group and healthy controls.The sensitivity and specificity of EMAb and CA125 for endometriosis are 57.78% and 100% respectively.Serum levels of EMAb and CA125 were significantly decreased after treatment.Conclusion The determination of serum level of EMAb or CA125 is helpful in diagnosis of endometriosis and evaluation of its curative effect.The diagnostic value of combined determination of serum levels of EMAb and CA125 is much better in diagnosis of this disease.
