The Effect of Combination of GuiZhi FuLing Capsule and Mifepristone on Adenomyosis

Objective: To analyze the effect of Gui Zhi Fu Ling Capsule combined with mifepristone in the treatment of adenomyosis and its influence over serum sex hormone levels. Methods: According to the order of admission, 180 patients with adenomyosis in our hospital from 2012 May to 2013 May were divided into two groups with 90 cases respectively. The control group were administered mifepristone, while the observation group were given Gui Zhi Fu Ling Capsule and mifepristone. The curative effect, changes of E2, FSH, P and LH levels, uterine volume, degree of dysmenorrhea as well as menstrual blood volume were compared in both groups after 6-month treatment. Results: The effective rate in observation group was 92.2%(83/90) significantly higher than that in control group 78.9%(71/90); the levels of E2, FSH, P and LH, uterine volume, degree of dysmenorrheal as well as menstrual blood volume were significantly lower than that in control group. The differences showed statistical meaning(P0.05).Conclusion: The combination of Gui Zhi Fu Ling Capsule and mifepristone in treatment of adenomyosis is clinically accurate for the adjustment of the serum sex hormone levels, reduction of dysmenorrhea and improvement of menstrual condition.
