A CASE REPORT OF ADENOMYOSIS WITH UTERO - VAGINAL PROLAPSE

Adenomyosis is a benign condition defined as growth of the endometrial glands and \nstroma deep into the myometrium. \nIt is difficult to \ndiagnose. \nIt usually does not cause significant \nuterine enlargement. Here we present a case of third degree utero \n- \nvaginal prolapse with grossly \nenlarged uterus (24 weeks), the clinical and MR findings of which was mimicking sarcoma. Final \ndiagnosis was est \nablished after hysterectomy based on histo \n- \npathological features.
