Analysis on related factors of pregnancy after hysteroscopy and laparoscopy in primary infertile women

Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical characteristics of pregnancy after hysteroscopy and laparoscopy in primary infertile women,investigate the time distribution and characteristics.Methods:59 primary infertile women undergoing hysteroscopy and laparoscopy from January 2003 to January 2006 were divided into pregnancy group (21 cases) and non-pregnancy group (38 cases) according to pregnancy or not after operation,the clinical characteristics,pregnancy rate and time distribution were analysed retrospectively.Results:There was significance difference in incidence of incomplete uterine septum between pregnancy group and non-pregnancy group (P=0.008),in pregnancy group,38.1% of the women had endometriosis,while in non-pregnancy group,47.4% of the women had chronic pelvic inflammatory disease,there was significant difference (P=0.026).Combined examination of hysteroscopy and laparoscopy was superior to single examination of hysteroscopy or laparoscopy,which played an important role in evaluation of oviduct function,treatment of reversible oviduct lesions and choice of assisted reproductive techniques.Conclusion:Most of the women after hysteroscopy and laparoscopy get pregnancy within 18 months,and 18 months after hysteroscopy and laparoscopy is vital period for the women,assisted reproductive techniques maybe adopted to increase the pregnancy rate if necessary.
