Role of laparoscopy in diagnosis and treatment of infertility: a retrospetive analysis of 108 cases

Abstract
To study the value of laparoscopy in diagnosis and treatment of infertility. 108 patients with infertility experienced with laparoscopic treatment and pregnancy rates after operation were analyzed retrospectively during recent two years period. All patients were operated successfully. Post-operation pregnancy rate of 68 patients with chronic pelvic infective disease was 40.41%; 17 patients with endometriosis was 29.41%; 11 patients with polycystic ovary syndrome was 72.73%; 3 patients with myoma of uterus was 33.33%; 3 patients with ovarian tumor was 33.33%; 4 patients with normal pelvic was 75.00% and 2 patients with genital tuberculosis was zero. Total pregnancy rate of 108 patients was 42.59%. 36 patients (78.26%) conceived in one year after surgery. [Conclusions] Laparoscopy plays an important role in diagnosis and treatment of infertility and it is effective.
