Abstract

[Objective]To discuss the diagnosis value of vaginal and abdominal ultrasound on adenomyosis.[Methods]Retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 80 cases of adenomyosis diagnosed after surgery, the patients were detected preoperatively by transvaginal ultrasound and abdominal ultrasound examination, observed the the uterine shape, size and location of the muscle wall lesions, echo characteristics, arterial blood flow distribution, measured spectrum pulsatility index(pulsatility index,PI)and resistance index(resistive index,RI),and compared pathology results and ultrasound results.[Results]Typical ultrasound results showed increased uterine and mostly widely diffuse, coarse granular lesion showed slightly stronger echo, blood flow was sparse star-shaped,vaginal and abdominal ultrasound were consistent with 87.5%,67.5%,showed a significant difference between the two,P﹤0.05. The concordance rate of the two diagnostic rates was 91.3%.[Conclusion]Transvaginal ultrasound has a non-invasive and repeatable characteristics, high diagnostic value, which can clearly show the characteristics of disease, with abdominal ultrasound can reduce the rate of missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis.
