Ultra-high spatio-temporal resolution imaging with parallel acquisition-readout structured illumination microscopy (PAR-SIM)

Abstract
Abstract Parallel acquisition-readout SIM (PAR-SIM) achieves a fundamentally stupendous information temporal flux of 132.9 Mpixels per second, larger than 9.6-fold of the latest techniques, with the lowest SNR of -3.42 dB and 100 nm resolution. It successfully reconstructs diverse cellular organelles in dual wavelengths. Notably, mitochondrial dynamic tubulation and ongoing membrane fusion processes in live COS-7 cell have been captured with PAR-SIM at 408 Hz, without degrading the image reconstruction quality.
