Abstract
Objective: to review the scientific evidence regarding the effectiveness of pelvic physiotherapy in the management of endometriosis and its clinical manifestations, as well as to evaluate the outcomes obtained with the different techniques employed. Methods: this is a literature review conducted in the PubMed, SciELO, LILACS, Science Direct, Scopus, Embase, Web of Science, PEDro, and Wiley databases, in addition to Google Scholar, covering articles published between 2020 and 2025. Results: despite the observed limitations, the findings indicate that pelvic physiotherapy provides relevant benefits, especially in pain reduction, improvement of functionality, and promotion of quality of life. Conclusion: pelvic physiotherapy constitutes a conservative and safe alternative with potential positive impact in the treatment of endometriosis; however, further clinical trials with larger samples and methodological standardization of interventions are required.
