Abstract
Objective To explore clinical effect of Mirena for menstrual abnormalities and dysmenorrheal in patients with adenomyosis.Methods 36 cases of uterine adenomyosis after placing Mirena 12 months follow-up 4 times in the l,3,6,12 month,the degree of dysmenorrhea,menstrual flow and uterine volume changes were compared.Results Score in patients with dysmenorrhea,menstrual flow monthly decline in a month did not change significantly.In the 3,6,12 months,these targets significantly decreased compared with before placement(P0.05 or P0.01);the uterine volume was significantly reduced compared with before placement in 12 months(P0.05).Conclusion Mirena is a safe and effective method for the treatment of adenomyosis.
