Influence of Wenyang Huayu Method on VEGF Secretion in Endometrial Cells of Patients with Endometriosis Cultured in Vitro

Objective: To observe the interventive effect of Wenyang Huayu method on VEGF secretion in eutopic endometrium and ectopic endometrium of patients with endometriosis cultured in vitro. Methods: The eutopic endometrium and ectopic endometrium of 15 patients with endometriosis and the eutopic endometrium of 10 non endometrium controls were cultured in vitro and then were randomly divided into six groups: the high dosage group with Wenyang Huayu method,the medium one and the low one,Gestrinong group,normal control group,and non endometrium control group. VEGF level in the supernatant in each group was detected with ELISA. Results: VEGF level in the supernatant of eutopic endometrium and ectopic endometrium of patients with endometriosis cultured in vitro went up. Wenyang Huayu drug could reduce the expression of VEGF. Conclusion: The occurrence of endometriosis is associated with abnormal expression of VEGF. Wenyang Huayu drug can result in down- regulation of VEGF.
