Abstract

Aim: To explore the ultrastructural change of eutopic and ectopic endometrium from rat uterus. Methods: According to Jones's method, rat animal model with endometriosis was established. The endometrial and endometriotic tissue was acquired for transmission election microscopic examination at six weeks after modeling. Results: In comparison with the control group , ectopic endometrium has discontinuous basement membrane and vacuolated mitochondrion; necrotic cell、 vacuolated mitochondrion、 expanded rough endoplasmic reticulum and autophagosome in ectopic endometrium were commonly seen after Danazol treatment. Conclusion: Ultrastructure of the endometrium was changed after transplantation; necrotic cell and altered organelles in ectopic endometrium are commonly seen after Danazol treatment.
