Abstract
The subject matter of the instant invention is pertinent to the field of treatment of progesterone-dependent conditions. Compositions for practicing the methods, comprising one or more 19-norsteroid progesterone receptor modulators having a monomethylamine-substituted phenyl ring at the 11 ss-position of carbon 11 and exhibiting low antiglucocorticoid activity, are also disclosed. Embodiments of the instant invention disclose methods for treating endometriosis, dysmenorrhea, breast cancer, uterine fibroids and endometrial hyperproliferation.
