Endometriozis is rarely seen on incisional scars following a hernia operation, a incisional mass is considered to \nbe either due to inflamation or reccurence. Preoperative diagnosis is diffucult and a definite diagnosis can only be \nmade by an operative procedure and histopathological examination.
