Abstract

In the present study152 female patients at 1-10 years following surgical subtotal hysterectomy were examined. 20 of them had been treated in an oncology clinic\cancer center\dispensary for cervical stump cancer (stages IIB 12, III 6, IV 2). In 103 cases background (92.3%) or preneoplastic (7.7%) diseases were detected. 36.9% revealed background or preneoplastic comobidities combined with colpoptosis or vaginal prolapse and pelvic floor relaxation. A system of diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative procedures has been developed for female patients who underwent subtotal hysterectomy which includes specific methods of uterine cervix examination prior to subtotal hysterectomy. Therapeutic regimens for the treatment of certain diagnosed cervical stump pathologies during the long-term follow-up\post-operative period have been established. According to the elaborated regimen used in patients with cervical stump disorders, 36.9% underwent transvaginal cervical stump excision with colpoperineoplasty, 25.2% underwent laserconing, 37.8% underwent laserdestruction. The efficacy of cervical stump pathology treatment was 98.1%.
