Expression of BCL-2 in eutopic and ectopic endometrium of emt model rats treated with traditional Chinese medicine

Abstract
To observe the expression of the apoptosis-regulating protein Bcl-2 in the en-dometriurntof endometriosis (EMT) model rats treated with Xiao Zheng Tang (a preparation of traditional Chinese medicine), and to study the mechanism of Xiao Zheng Tang promoting the apoptosis of the graft. First, the rat endometriosis model was established. Second, Xiao Zheng Tang 0.5ml and 1.0ml, respectively, was poured down the throat of each rat of the model experimental groups every day. Third, the expression and immunolocalization of Bcl-2 in eutopic and ectopic endometrium were obsered by immu-nohistochemical techniques. The expression of Bcl-2 protein was found in epithelial cells, glandular cells, stroma cells, leukocytes and macrophages of eutopic and ectopic endometrium, and the expres-sion intensity of model control groups was significantly highter than that of other groups (P<0.01). The higher expression of Bcl-2 in endometrium inhibits the apoptosis of the graft. Xiao Zheng Tang lowers the level of Bcl-2 protein and promotes apoptosis.
