ZEndometriyozis, endometriyal glandlarn ve stromann uterus ve miyometriyum dnda yerlemesi olarak tanmlanr.Semptomlar deikendir ve infertilite nedeni olabilir.Ultrasonografi (US), zellikle de transvajinal US tanda ilk yntemdir fakat snrlamalar vardr.Snrl bir grnt alanna sahiptir ve uygulayc bamldr.Bu snrlamalar nedeniyle laparoskopi tan ve evrelemede standart yntemdir.Manyetik rezonans grntleme tanda yksek duyarllk ve zglle sahip bir yntemdir.
