Abstract
SummaryTubo-ovarian cancer presents itself under two main clinical forms, the first with an essentially abdominal development, the second mainly pelvic or pelvi-parametrial and represented histologically by anovarian or tubular epithelioma. This second type may be difficult to distinguish from some inflammatory lesions of the anoexa with a pseudo-tumoral aspect. To make the differential diagnosis easier, we advise a simple procedure consisting in injecting daily for two weeks about 200-300 units of penicillin in the cervico-uterin muscles or in the affected parametria. Thanks to this treatment, inflammatory symptoms regress rapidly and this makes it possible to rule out cancer definitively or to recognize a malignant tumor completely covered by infection.
