Abstract

The coronavirus pandemic has put educational organizations before a choice: to stop implementing educational programs or to use multimedia technologies that ensure the transition to a distance learning format, which is based on the ICT competencies of teachers, access to the Internet, multimedia technologies, technical training tools and digital educational platforms. It should be assumed that by 2020 this trend covered many countries of the world, including the problems of organizing classes for the study of the discipline "English".
