Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of operation assisted by Mifepristone in the treat ment of endometriosis. Methods The clinical data of 112 patients with endometriosis who were treated in the depart ment of gynaecology in Taiping people's hospital of Dongguan City in Guangdong Province from January 2009 to Jan uary 2011 were collected, then patients were divided into group A and group B.The patients in the group A were giv en laparoscopic surgery for treatment, and group B was given postoperative Mifepristone on basis of group A.The clin ical efficacy, the occurrence of adverse drug reactions and the recurrence rate of each group were evaluated, after one year follow-up,the recurrence and pregnancy rate of two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate was higher in the group B than that in the group A(89.29% vs 73.21%,P0.05).And the recurrence rate was higher in the group A than that in the group B(14.29% vs 3.57%,P0.05),the pregnancy rate was higher in the group B than that in the group A(55.36% vs 35.71%,P0.05).Conclusion The treatment of operation assisted by Mifepristone can obtain satisfactory curative effect for patients with endometriosis, which has less side effects, high safety, low re currence rate and high pregnancy rate, which can improve the prognosis and quality of life obviously, which is worthy of further promotion.
