Abstract
Backgorund: In this paper, modelling and simulation of a prototype product-box assembly automation system, which has designed for control laboratories is presented. Prototype automation systems and their mathematical models are valuable tools for control education and research. The paper describes background and working principle of the prototype system, which is modelled by Simulink, block diagrams. Methods: : Control applications of Proportional Integral Derivative (PID, Fuzzy Inference System (FIS), Adaptive Neurofuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) methods are observed and their performances are compared. Results: : Once mathematical model (MM) of the automation system is ensured, evidences and performances of analysis and design methods thought in the lessons could be examined by means of various control applications on the model. The foremost contribution of the study is in the drawing out of a new teaching and development model for control engineering and the different supplied methods for an effective design of such tools.
