Abstract
Objective:To investigate the positive expressions of interleukins(IL) 17 and IL-6,and transforming growth factor(TGF)β in Endometriosis(EMs) and the role in pathogenesis of EMs.Methods:Expressions of IL-17 and 6,and TGF-β were detected by immunohistochemistly(Elivision two-step) in 35 cases of ectopic endometrium tissues,20 cases of eutopic endometrium tissues and 15 cases of normal endometrium tissues(control group). Results:The positive ratio of IL-17 in ectopic endometrium tissues(85.7%) was significantly higher than that in eutopic endometrium tissues(20.0%)(P0.01)and in control group(6.7%)(P0.01),and there was no significant difference between eutopic endometrium group and control group. The positive ratio of IL-6 in ectopic endometrium tissues(60.0%) was significantly higher than that in control group(13.3%)(P0.01),and the positive ratio in eutopic endometrium tissues was 40.0%,compared with the other two group there was no significant difference. The positive ratio of TGF-βin ectopic endometrium tissues(97.1%) was significantly higher than that in eutopic endometrium tissues(20.0%)(P0.01)and in control group(13.3%)(P0.01),and there was no significant difference between eutopic endometrium group and control group.Three cytokines had no high positive expression in healthy controls.Expressions of IL-6 and TGF-β had positive correlation with that of IL-17 in ectopic endometrium tissues(r=0.91,0.97,P0.01).Conclusion:IL-17 and IL-6,and TGF-β may play promoting role in the occurrence and development of EMs.
