The effects of laparoscopy combined with hysteroscopy in diagnosis and treatment of infertile women with endometriosis

Abstract

Objective:To assess application value,clinical feature and curative effect of laparoscopy combined with hysteroscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of infertile women with endometriosis.Methods:From Sep.2008 to Mar.2011,119 infertile women with endometriosis underwent laparoscopy combined with hysteroscopy.Clinical data of these patients were retrospectively analyzed.Results:All patients were treated successfully.One hundred and sixteen patients were followed up with a ratio of 97.5%.The cumulative pregnancy rate was 41.4%.Pregnancy rate in the first 12 months after surgery was 75.0%(36/48).The cumulative pregnancy rate was 71.9%(23/32) for stageⅠ-Ⅱpatients,34.5%(19/55) for stage Ⅲ,and 20.7%(6/29) for stage Ⅳ(P0.05).Conclusions:Laparoscopy combined with hysteroscopy has good effects on the infertile women with endometriosis,and may be widely used in clinical treatment.This procedure makes good use of advantages of 2 mini-invasive operations,can diagnose and treat patients at the same time.
