Abstract

ABSTRACT We report a case of an endometrioma in a laparoscopic port scar, an unusual possible complication of laparoscopic surgery. The patient presented with typical features of a scar endometrioma and the lesion was surgically excised. Laparoscopic laser treatment to pelvic endometriosis in this patient has resulted in her becoming pregnant. The aetiology of scar endometriosis is discussed.
