Abstract
To evaluate diagnostic accuracy of 3D TVUS in detection of myometrial /endometrial abnormalities in comparison with uterine pathology in patients with PMB. 2D TVUS to measure endometrial thickness and to detect the presence of any endometrial and myometrial focal lesions. 3D TVUS to acquire multiplanner view of the uterine cavity and detect presence or absence of any cavitary or myometrial lesions.Power Doppler ultrasound to measure Resistance index (RI), Pulsatility index (PI) and Peak Systolic Velocity (PSV) of remarkable vessel. Endometrial Biopsies: Dilatation and Curettage, Hysterectomy Histopathological Assessment. The sensitivity and specificity of 3D TVUS as a diagnostic test for Fibroid were 94.11% & 93.6% respectively. The sensitivity & specificity of 3D TVUS in diagnosing Adenomyosis were 88.88% & 95.77% respectively. Regarding Velocimetric Parameters, the cut off values of RI=0.76,PI=1.26 &PSV=6.25 for Discriminating between Normal & Abnormal endometrium had sensitivity of 98.1%,73.6% & 75.5% respectively.
