Abstract
The dysfunctional uterine bleeding during perimenopausal period is caused by the dysfunction of hypothalamus-pituitary gland-ovary axle.The clinical manifestation is polymenorrhea,profuse uterine bleeding,bradymenorrhea,anaemia,infection and so on.It′s diagnosis is mainly according from dilation and curettage,and pathobiological result.Mifepristone will cause the apoptosis of hypothalamus,pituitary gland,or the follicular cell.The shrink of the utero-helicine arteries will induce the apoptosis and atrophy of endometrium with mifepristone.The curative effect is certain,and the adverse reaction is minor with mifepristone in dysfunctional uterine bleeding during perimenopausal period.
