Abstract
Objective To assess the value of MSCT in the differential diagnosis of ureteral carcinoma and ureteral endometriosis.Materials and Methods The CT data of 5 patients with ureteral endometriosis and 12 patients with ureteral carcinoma confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed.Results The CT appearances of ureteral endometriosis included extraluminal mass(3 cases),intraluminal filling defect(1 case),and concurrent with ovarian cysts(3 cases).The CT appearances of ureteral carcinoma were ureteral wall thickening(3 cases),intraluminal filling defect(5 cases),extraluminal mass(4 cases),and retroperitoneal lymph node swell(3 cases).Conclusion MSCT play a certain role in differential diagnosis of ureteral carcinoma and ureteral endometriosis.
