Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of two doses of m ifepristone in the treatment of endometriosis,so as to provide reference basis for treatment of endometriosis. Methods 52 patients with endometriosis in our hospital from January 2011 to January 2013 were selected as the research objects, and divided into observation group and control group, with 26 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with mifepristone 12.5 mg each time, once a day, while patients in the observation group were treated with mifepristone 5.0 mg each time, once a day.The clinical effect, recurrence rate and safety of two groups were compared and analyzed. Results The total effective rate and recurrence rate were 100.0% and 26.9% of the observation group respectively, and 100.0%and 30.8% of the control group respectively; the difference was not statistically significant between the two groups(P0.05).The gastrointestinal reaction had significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusions The clinical effects of two doses of mifepristone in the treatment of endometriosis are similar, but small dose of mifepristone has high level of security relatively, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
