Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of clinical pathway in patients with uterine myoma or adenomyosis receiving hysterectomy. Methods Thirty patients with uterine myoma or adenomyosis from June 2010 to June 2011 underwent the hysterectomy with clinical pathway;another 30 cases with the same diseases without using clinical pathway were selected as control. The average hospitalization days,self-care ability, the health knowledge level and satisfaction degree of the patients were compared. Results In the clinical pathways(CPs) group, the average hospitalization days were shorter, and the self-care ability, the health knowledge level and satisfaction of patients were significantly greater than that in the control(P0.05).Conclusion Using the clinical pathway in patients with uterine myoma or adenomyosis receiving hysterectomy can effectively decrease the average hospitalization days, improve the self-care ability, prompte the health knowledge and satisfaction degree of patients.
