Abstract

Objective To explore the correlationship between polymorphisms of toll-like receptor(TLR)9 rs352139and rs352140genes and risk of adenomyosis. Methods A case-control study was conducted on 50 patients with adenomyosis and 50healthy women.DNA direct sequencing was used to analyze the gene polymorphisms. Results The frequencies of TT,CT and CC genotype on TLR9rs352139in patients with adenomyosis were 38%,40%and 22%,while they were 48%,32%and 20%in control group. There were no significant differences(χ2=1.073,P=0.585).The frequencies of the T and C allele in the two groups were 58%,42%and 64%,36% also with no significant differences(P=0.384).The frequencies of TT,CT and CC genotype on TLR9rs352140in patients with adenomyosis were 20%,40%and 40%,whereas they were 18%,38%and 44%in control group. No significant differences were found(P=0.917).The frequencies of the T and C allele in the two groups were 40%,60%and 37%,63 % with no significant differences(P=0.663).Conclusions The polymorphisms of TLR9rs352139and rs352140genes is not closely associated with the risk of adenomyosis.
