Preventing Effect of Fuzheng Xiaoyi Remedy Combined with GnRH-a to Postoperative Recurrence in Ovarian Endometriotic Cysts

Objective To observe the effect of Fuzheng Xiaoyi remedy combined with gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist(GnRH-a)in prevention of postoperative recurrence in ovarian endometriotic cysts.Methods Totally 60 postopetative patients with ovarian endometriotic cysts were divided by convenience sampling as control group of 30 cases recieving GnRH-a alone,and trial group of 30 cases receiving Fuzheng Xiaoyi remedy plus GnRH-a.The course was 6 months and then the patients were followed up for 3 years.The differences in the total effective rate and total recurrence rate of the two groups were compared.Results There were 11 patients who got effect,12 who got remission,and 7 who did not responded in the control group;but there were 21 patients who got effect,8 who got remission,and one who not responded in the trial group.Ridit analysis showed that the difference between the two groups was significant(P0.05).The three-year follow-up revealed that the relapse occurred in 12 cases in the control group,but only in one case in the trial group.The total recurrence rate showed statistically significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion The Fuzheng Xiaoyi remedy plus GnRH-a can significantly improve the effective rate and decrease the recurrence rate for postoperative prevention of ovarian endometriotic cysts.
