Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of transvaginal puncture guided by ultrasound combined with gonadotropin releasing hormone agonist (GnRH-a) in the treatment of endometrial cystoma of ovary. Methods: 58 cases of patients who were clinically diagnosed endometriotic cyst were enrolled. We aspirated the cysts and kept alcohol in the cysts for 15 minutes. 53 cases of patients who were diagnosed by the cytology analyses of cystic fluid were divided into two groups. Medication group: after puncture, Zoladex 3.6mg, subcutaneous injection, once a month, for 3~6 months. Contrast group: without medicine after puncture. The follow-up time was above 9 months. Results: The effect of medication group was higher than contrast group, the difference was significant. Conclusions: The methods is feasible and safe, GnRH-a′ maintenance treatment can control symptom effectively and urge focus atrophy.
