Abstract
Objective To establish and observe the rat model of endometriosis (EMT) with symptoms of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Methods The rat model of endometriosis was established by transplantation of endometrium and by hypodermatic injection of Adr method .The fragment of endometrium of estrous rat was transplanted around ovary or in abdominal wall.Three to four weeks later,0.1% Adr was added to it by hypodermatic injection(per rat was given 0 15ml),once a week, totally four times.Three weeks later, the rat model of liver depression was established. The control group was only done by the operation of cutting abdominal wall open without endometrium transplantation. Results The transplantation object was of cyst shape and the colour of cyst was white and hyaline or dim red .The cyst had the structure of endometrium when it was observed with microscope. The model had TCM symptoms of liver depression and there were some pathological changes in the tissue of adrenal. Conclusion The model was established simply and easily with a high success rate .It could contribute to the study of TCM.
