Evidently is still a substantial knowledge vacuum about the epidemiological features of these illnesses among adolescents and young adults in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) between the ages of 15 and 39, spite having been established that previous study findings have mostly concentrated on worldwide distribution patterns. The creation of practical methods to lessen their load is hampered by this gap. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the disease burden of AD and T1DM in ASEAN between 1990 and 2023, examine contributing factors, and forecast future trends for both illnesses. Methods: The above investigation discussed the prevalence, incidence, and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) for T1DM and AD in ten ASEAN the countries that are members, comprising Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, employing data from the 2023 Global Burden of Disease study. The estimated annual percentage change (EAPC) was utilized to evaluate temporal trends in the age-standardized rates of these indicators. To quantify the factors influencing variations in the illness burden, a decomposition analysis was also utilized. Additionally, the incidence and DALY rates for AD and T1DM in the ASEAN area displayed by executing a Bayesian age-period-cohort (BAPC) model from 2023 to 2050.
