Abstract
Endometriosis is an estrogen-dependent, long-term condition that causes acute and chronic pain and fatigue. As a result, it has a significant impact on the woman's quality of life and day-to-day activities, including interpersonal relationships and sexuality, as well as the ability to carry out daily chores, work, and fertility, physical, and mental fitness. Chronic pain is the root cause of an adverse impact of endometriosis in the affected population, such as interruption of education and careers and curtailed social participation. For any disease per se, curative treatment alone is not enough to promote good health. The main goal of health promotion is to support a healthy behavior through a multidimensional approach. Healthy behavior is not only physical activity, but also a combination of mental, educational, and environmental factors that enables us to lead a healthy life. Especially in the perception of pain because of endometriosis, social and environmental factors play an important role, emphasizing the role of social and psychological support.
