Comparative Effectiveness of Laparoscopic Cystectomy Versus Cyst Deroofing for Ovarian Endometriomas: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Ovarian endometriomas are a severe manifestation of endometriosis that compromise ovarian structure and function, impacting fertility potential. Surgical management commonly involves either laparoscopic cystectomy or cyst deroofing, but the relative effectiveness of these techniques has not been evaluated in the literature. This systematic review and meta-analysis, therefore, aims to address this research gap to inform clinical practice.
