Abstract

Objective It is to discuss the relation between endometriosis and tubal pregnancy. Methods 161 patients with tubal pregnancy were chosen into observation group and 65 patients with no tubal pregnancy who were operated were chosen into control group. The positive rates of endometriosis in the two groups and whether endometriosis had effect on the level of serum CA125 and EMAb were observed. Results The positive rate in observation group was 19.3% and that in control group was 7.7% (P0.05). 31 patients with tubal pregnancy combined with endometriosis were detected and the positive rate of CA125 was 84% and that of EMAb was 81%. 20 patients with tubal pregnancy uncombined with endometriosis were detected and the positive rate of CA125 was 75% and that of EMAb was 15%. The difference of EMAb positive rate between the two groups was significant (P0.01). According to the position of ovarian corpus luteum, 27.9% tubal pregnancy patients ovulated from the opposite tubal. Conclusion Endometriosis is one of the important causes of tubal pregnancy. Detecting serum EMAb of tubal pregnancy patients before operation can help diagnosing endometriosis. Tubal pregnancy may be closely related to zygote wandering.
