Abstract
Objective To explore the expression of interleukin-8(IL-8) and its effect on pathogenesis of endometriosis. Methods The patients were divided into different groups on base of R-AFS standard, and the levels of IL-8 in peritoneal fluid and IL-8 mRNA in endomembrane tissue were detected by ELISA,real-time-PCR,respectively.The level of IL-8 mRNA was represented by lg cDNA/lg GAPDH.Results The levels of IL-8 in peritoneal fluid and endomembrane tissue were(23.37±8.23)pg/ml,(12.32±4.27)pg/ml,respectively(P0.05).However,the expression of IL-8 mRNA in estrin phase of endomembrane was 1.3011±0.2689,1.1239±0.2738(log cDNA/log GAPDH).It was similar in two groups(P0.05).Conclusion IL-8,a kind of autocrine growth factor and positive feedback factor, can promote the growth of stroma cells and play a key role in pathogenesis of endometriosis.
