Clinical effect of clearing heat and resolving stasis method in treating adenomyosis of blood stasis syndrome

Objective To observe the clinical effect of clearing heat and resolving stasis method in the treatment of adenomyosis with blood stasis syndrome.Methods 60 patients( blood stasis syndrome) were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group. The treatment group was given clearing heat and resolving stasis prescription while the control group was treated with Xue Fu Zhu Yu capsule. Both groups were medicated for 3 months in succession. The degree of dysmenorrhea,the change in menstruation cycle,blood CA125 and uterine volume were observed after treatment. Results 1The total efficacy rate in the improvement of menstrual cycle was 90. 00% in the treatment group and 66. 67% in the control group. There had statistical difference between the groups( P 0. 05). 2Both groups had significant difference in relieving dysmenorrheal( P 0. 05),and there had significantly difference between the two group s( P 0. 05). 3 Serum CA125 levels were significantly decreased in both groups after the treatment( P 0. 05),but the two groups did not differ significantly( P 0. 05). 4Both groups had significant difference in controlling uterus volume( P 0. 05),and there had significantly difference between the two groups( P 0. 05). Conclusion Clearing heat and resolving stasis method could effectively improve the clinical symptoms of adenomyosis patients with blood stasis syndrome.
