Abstract
Objective:To research the serum CA125 levels in patients with endometriosis before and after surgery.Methods:Sixty-two patients with endometriosis who were treated with surgery were selected,the serum CA125 levels before and after surgery were detected,and the results were compared with serum CA125 levels of 58 patients without endometriosis.Results:Serum CA125 level showed an increasing trend with severity of endometriosis,there was a significant linear correlation(γ2=0.886,P0.01),and the serum CA125 level before surgery in patients with endometriosis was statistically significantly higher than that in patients without endometriosis(P0.01).Serum CA125 levels after surgery in patients with endometriosis of stage Ⅰ,stage Ⅱ,and stage Ⅲ were statistically significantly lower than those before surgery(stage Ⅰ and stage Ⅱ: P0.01;stage Ⅲ: P0.05);and there was statistically significant difference in serum CA125 level among patients with endometriosis of different stages(P0.01);there was a significant positive correlation between serum CA125 levels of patients with endometriosis of different stages(γ=0.726 4,P0.01).Conclusion:CA125 is correlated with occurrence and development of endometriosis,and it has a very important significance for diagnosis of endometriosis with aggravation of the disease.
