Schätzungen zufolge leidet nahezu die Hälfte der infertilen Frauen an einer Endometriose. Die chronisch entzündliche Beckenerkrankung gilt zudem als Risikofaktor für einen ungünstigen Schwangerschaftsverlauf, die Datenlage ist diesbezüglich allerdings schwach. Ein Team italienischer und französischer Forscher ging nun der Frage nach, ob nach einer Endometrioseoperation das Risiko für Schwangerschaftskomplikationen steigt.
