Оперативное лечение гнойных тубоовариальных образований на фоне ВМК в репродуктивном возрасте

58 women of the reproductive age (the average age was 37,4 ± 5,2 years) with tuboovarian abscess due to intrauterine device (IUD) were operated on. The duration of contraception was from 1 to 12 years. Different types of operations were perfomed: from unilateral adnexectomy up panhysteroectomy. The indications for hysteroectomy were: the presence of accompanying panmetritis, myoma uteri and adenomyosis. The results showed the identity of microorganisms from the cervix and from the abdominal cavity. The average duration of pre-operative period was 9,5 days and post operative -143 days. The follow up within 5 years after 36 women to assess the results of the operation revealed the increased irritability, depression at 28 % of the women, hot flashes at 25 %, hypertention at 8,3 % and the lower abdomen pain at 22 %. The various disturbances of menstrual cycle were observed: olygomenorrhea in 19 % of cases, algomenorrhea in 5,5 %, hyperpolymenorrhea in 2,8 %. 5 women became pregnant without any stimulation of ovulation, and two of them twice.
