Clinical analysis of perimenopausal vaginal bleeding

Abstract

Objective To analyze the etiology of perimenopausal vaginal bleeding. Methods Clinical data of 168 cases of perimenopausal vaginal bleeding patients in our hospital from January 2010 to June 2011 were analyzed. Results In perimenopausal vaginal bleeding patients, uterine fibroids accounted for 14.88%, adenomyosis accounted for 11.31%, and uterine fibroids with adenomyosis accounted for 6.0%.Conclusion As the vaginal perimenopausal abnormal bleeding being a warning signal, the abnormal bleeding due to uterine fibroids and adenomyosis need more attention.
