METHOD FOR DETECTION OF EXPRESSION OF INDICATOR MRNA ACTING AS INDICATOR FOR ENDOMETRIOSIS-RELATED DISEASES, AND PROBE FOR USE IN THE METHOD

Disclosed is a detection method which can detect both indicator mRNA that acts as an indicator for endometriosis-related diseases and control mRNA with high reliability even when both the indicator mRNA and the control mRNA are intended to be detected in a single reaction system. For a biological sample containing endometrial cells, a reaction system containing a nucleic acid amplification product produced by using the indicator mRNA as a template and a nucleic acid amplification product produced by using ss-actin mRNA from the biological sample as a template is prepared. By using the reaction system, both the nucleic acid amplification product of the indicator mRNA and the nucleic acid amplification product of the ss-actin mRNA are detected with probes respectively specific to the nucleic acid amplification products in the same reaction system. The probe to be used for the detection of the nucleic acid amplification product of the ss-actin mRNA is a probe capable of hybridizing with a region lying between position-808 and position-910 in SEQ ID NO:1 or a probe comprising a sequence complementary to the sequence for the probe. The indicator mRNA can be detected with high reliability by detecting ss-actin mRNA simultaneously with the indicator mRNA.
