Application of Goserelin and Gestrinone after Endometriosis Surgery

Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To compare efficacy and adverse drug reaction of goserelin and gestrinone after laparoscopic surgery of ovarian endometrial cyst and Ⅲ and Ⅳ stages of endometriosis.METHODS:36 cases of severe endometriosis treated with additional drugs after laparoscopic surgery were analyzed retrospectively.36 patients were randomly divided into group A and group B with each group of 18 cases.Group A was injected with goserelin hypodermically after surgery every 28 days for 3 times.Group B was given oral dose of gestrinone 2.5 mg twice a week for 3 months.RESULTS:The effective rate of group A was 94.4%,group B was 100.0%.Clinical symptom disappeared or was improved obviously,but there was 1 relapse case.Mild ADRs were observed in 2 groups but the types of ADR were different between 2 groups.CONCLUSION:Goserelin and gestrinone have different advantages and disadvantages in the treatment of endometriosis.Goserelin is convenient to patients and sound compliance.
