Abstract

This literature review offers a comprehensive analysis of the design and optimization of microstrip patch antennas for wireless communication systems, drawing insights from a variety of research papers. It examines diverse approaches aimed at enhancing antenna performance and functionality. Key topics explored include optimization of resonant frequency, design of antenna arrays, and bandwidth enhancement. Noteworthy optimization techniques, such as genetic algorithms and artificial neural networks, are discussed, highlighting their effectiveness in achieving superior antenna performance. Application-specific solutions tailored to areas such as military communication and RFID systems are emphasized.
