Ultrasonographic diagnosis and misdiagnois of adenomyosis

Abstract
Objective To explore 2 dimension and color Doppler ultrasonograhy for evaluation of patients with adenomyosis. Methods Sixty-eight patients were confirmed as adenomyosia. The nltrasonographic features were analyzed retrospectively. Results Only 58(58/68) patients with adenomyosis were diagnosed adenomyosis ac- cordantly on ultrasonography. 9 adenomyosis patients were misdiagnosed as other uterus diseases, and the diagnostic accuracy rate was 85 %. Conclusion The ultrasonic diagnosis is regarded as safer manner for diagnosis on adeno- myosis.
