Abstract

In the study, the influence of different methods of stimulating superovulation in ART cycles on breasts is investigated. 93 infertile patients underwent ultrasound examination of breasts, Doppler laser flowmetry, determination of IGF-1 level in dynamics. The studied patients were divided into groups according to the breast pathology found and the method of ovarian stimulation used. It is revealed that breast pathology is widely spread among infertile women. The protocol of ovarian stimulation with prior pituitary desensitization has no negative influence on the breast condition of those patients with revealed breast pathology. In two-three months, the IGF-1 level remains increased due to ovarian stimulation.
